Clinical Study of Cardiac Arrest during Operation

Abstract
|
|
|
Cardiac arrest is the sudden unexpected cessation from whatever cause of circulation producing cardiac activity. The sudden cessation of circulation may take from ventricular asystole, ventricular fibrillation, or cardiovascular collapse.
We have faced six cardiac arrest cases out of 924 ,operations in our operating room from February 1975 to September 1976. We tried to find out the possible etiologic factors of those cardiac arrests we have experienced in this report.
